Lugsulation cap is similar to Lugsulation flex but with a single molded O-ring and is typically used when space is limited for mounting purposes. The main feature is the use of a hexagon socket screw (ISK). The cylindrical head is immersed in the plastic sheathing and seals radially on the inner wall of the sheathing, i.e. all around the screw direction. The bottom of the screw head rests against the contact element. The still accessible screw head is closed by a sealing cover after the contact has been tightened. The lower O-ring seals according to the Lugsulation flex design. This variant can be used as an example in narrow engine compartments of agricultural machines. Only internal threads are suitable for sealing!
