When using the Lugsulation Seal, protruding connection areas are sealed radially and axially. This prevents the connection areas from being partially exposed, which could otherwise lead to conductive and open areas vulnerable to leakage currents or corrosion.

For many Lugsulation variants where no standard insulation screw with a plastic head can be used for sealing, there is the option of using an ISK screw (Allen bolt). After screwing, a cap closes the screw opening securely and permanently. A very good and simple insulating cable grommet!
