Protection against corrosion, protection against accidental contact, safety against failure – as a single element, Lugsulation offers a wide range of problem solutions. Since not all contacts are identical, there are different methods of Lugsulation depending on the respective application.
Lugsulation Seal – against the salt in the soup
Lugsulation Seal is the method of choice in case connecting screws or poles require to be insulated as well, as, for example, in saltwater environments. Its very low-extended sealing lip encloses any contacts present and completely insulates them according to their IP protection class.
Lugsulation Flex – the solution for batteries
Lugsulation Flex is a completely covered cable lug perfectly fitting on protruding contacts such as battery poles. It is tightened by an insulated pole screw or cap nut. With the screw firmly tightened, beads at the mouth fully prevent moisture from ingress.
Lugsulation deep – the solution for flat connections
Lugsulation Deep, defined by its cable lug’s plate-like recess, was individually developed and adjusted in order to ensure 100 percent contact on flat connections such as bus bars. At the same time, the construction of Lugsulation Deep efficiently protects the contact against moisture and dust.
Lugsulation Cap – variable application with the cap
Every Lugsulation version is also available in the “cap” design which allows tightening with a hex screw. After tightening the hex screw, Lugsulation Cap is closed by the cap – and, thus, completely sealed as well.
